General Tab - Groups not allowed to add other groups as members

Under the General Tab – The Contact Groups, Host Groups, and Service Groups options.

You can add individual records but you cannot add other Group entries as members. So under Contact Groups – you can not define a group and have another group be a member of the group. This functionality is allowed in Nagios 3.x under contact_groups field.
